INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM IN WEST VIRGINIA

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

What Is an Intensive Outpatient Program?

An intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides structured treatment for those who don’t need 24/7 care but would benefit from more support than traditional therapy offers. It’s ideal for those transitioning from inpatient care who are now living at home or in sober living, or those seeking intensive support in recovery. At Wise Path Recovery Centers TM, our IOP in West Virginia offers therapy, counseling, and relapse prevention while allowing clients to maintain daily responsibilities.

Who Should Attend an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?

The IOP is part of the Wise Path Recovery Centers ’ continuum of care and an excellent option for anyone who has a strong support system and no long-term withdrawal symptoms. Because they receive more comprehensive treatment and individualized recovery plans, clients in the IOP will have more opportunities to reintegrate into their communities and families. In other words, the IOP is a natural progression in your journey to independence after you’ve recovered from detox and withdrawal and met criteria for a step-down to a lower level of care.
