Wise Path Recovery Centers ™
INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM
Who Should Attend an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?
The IOP is part of the Wise Path Recovery Centers ™’ continuum of care and an excellent option for anyone who has a strong support system and no long-term withdrawal symptoms. Because they receive more comprehensive treatment and individualized recovery plans, clients in the IOP will have more opportunities to reintegrate into their communities and families. In other words, the IOP is a natural progression in your journey to independence after you’ve recovered from detox and withdrawal and met criteria for a step-down to a lower level of care.
This program is for you if you have:
Minor co-occurring conditions
Stable home environment
Encouraging and supportive family and friends
Access to relevant community services

What to Expect From an Intensive Outpatient Program
Our intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are designed to pick up right where you left off after a more intensive stay in residential treatment. IOPs typically require clients to spend 3 hours at our facility, five days a week, spent with others who are walking on similar paths to recovery as yourself. In most IOPs, we have both group and one-on-one therapy sessions scheduled in the morning and evening to accommodate work, school and childcare responsibilities. At Wise Path Recovery Centers ™, we will always work with you to make a treatment plan that fits your goals and expectations.
In addition to individual and group therapy, you will also have access to medication management, health and substance monitoring, and family therapy.
